Summer Camp FAQ

What is the student to teacher ratio?

There are a maximum of 8 to 12 students in a class and the student to teacher ratio is 1:6.  We strive to keep class sizes small and make sure we individualize our program to fit the needs of each student.  Having two teachers in a classroom allows for us to focus and support each individual student and encourage learning.

How do you transport the campers?

We take field trips up to twice a week depending on the session.  Transportation either occurs in late model rented vans that are inspected daily, or school buses that are driven by licensed bus drivers.

Are pre-requisites needed?

No experience is necessary.  If your camper has experience we do have a variety of experience levels in each course and try to individualize our program to the needs of each student.  If you have specific questions feel free to call or email us.

What classes should my child take?

Our programs and classes change often.  If you have questions regarding which class would best fit your child's needs, do not hesitate to call or email us and we can help answer all of your questions.

Is there before or after care for summer camp sessions?

Before and aftercare is available for Summer Camp sessions at the Ann Arbor Honey Creek Community School location.  This service is provided through Honey Creek and you must register through them.  Please click here for infomation.
